[SOLVED] Conky and Polybar show different memory usage

For some reason polybar always show a few percent higher memory usage than conky. When conky shows 18% RAM usage and 0% SWAP usage, polybar shows 22% memory usage. Anyone knows why is that?

It's obvious - they receive data from different sources or in different time points.

Memory management and reporting is rather more messy than most utilities let on. Take a look at the `man free` page, especially how the free command estimates the memory available, to see what I mean. As Lupo Alberto says, presumably polybar and conky obtain these estimates from different sources which go about guessing how much memory is available in different ways.
