St runs slowly when a lot of characters are being moved on the screen
I just Installed st yesterday, and I really like it. My one problem is that when a lot of characters are being moved around the screen, st becomes slower and jittery. It happens most harshly when I run cmatrix, but is still obvious even when I'm simply scrolling in vim. This has never happened to me in termite or urxvt. I would really like to continue to use st, but this slow down is a big turn off, as I like to use small bitmap fonts so a lot a characters are displayed on the screen at once.
If this helps, here is my config.h, I haven't added any other patches.

Are you running cmatrix directly in st, or are you using a multiplexer like tmux/screen?
