[KDE Plasma] screen brightness can no longer be controlled by Fn key

Hi Arch community,

Recently after some system updates, I can no longer control screen brightness using Fn key. However, I can still control it by dragging "Display Brightness" bar at system tray
Checked global keyboard shortcuts settings (see screenshot below), everything seems normal. Volume control and keyboard backlight control still work with Fn key.
Steps I took: reinstalled package `systemd` and `powerdevil` , no luck

Current kernel paramaters: removing pci=nomsi or acpi_osi = doesn't seem to help

GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="quiet pci=nomsi acpi_osi="

I'm running out of ideas where to investigate. I'd happily provide more info if needed. Any suggestion will be appreciated!

Re: [KDE Plasma] screen brightness can no longer be controlled by Fn key

This could be related to: https://forum.kde.org/viewtopic.php?f=309&t=160285

I ended up rolling back to a specific date as per: https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Ar … cific_date
I settled on 2019/04/20. I have't attempted to look into which package caused the issue but I have functional Plasma global shortcuts for the time being.

No it's not. That issue is a regression in KF 5.57 while this post is two months old.

Oh whoops, I misread the date of the initial post.
