[MATE]: Sync clock applet with Google calendar?

Is there any way to sync MATE's clock applet with google calendar? Or if not, is there any applet for the MATE DE that supports Google sync? I tried calendar-indicator, it synced only half of my events and tasks and overall I found it not very usable. Besides that, it required webkitgtk, which I installed separately and it warned me against browsing with it because of vulnerabilities. So I'm still searching.

I tried my best to google this before posting here.
