After i ran
pulseaudio --kill
. the audio on my computer stopped working. I tried running
pulseaudio --start
couple of times and still nothing.
i ran few commands to troubleshoot and here are the results for it.

Did you try to configure ALSA? Post your ALSA config files /etc/asound.conf and/or ~/.asoundrc as well as
aplay -lL
dmesg | grep snd
#FWIW to properly debug pulse
systemctl --user mask pulseaudio.socket
pulseaudio -k
pulseaudio -vvv

as for the config files i dont have either of them

So instead of doing the recommended config file changes at the user changeable locations you decided to change things in the system wide file, which you should never under any circumstances have to adjust. Post /usr/share/alsa/alsa.conf in that case. What did you try to do?
FWIW you should not have gotten that pulseaudio output again if you've executed these three commands in proper sequence. But we've determined that the issue is unlikely to be in pulse so reenable the socket
systemctl --user unmask pulseaudio.socket

i did run all the commands the same order you gave me. I just noticed that my /usr/share/alsa/alsa.conf had a letter that i accidentally forgot to remove when i was trying to solve my problem. i reran all the commands again and here are the outputs for them.

hmm weird, pulseaudio -k should kill pulse and the masked socket should prevent autostarting. FWIW you might want to revert the mask if it works now
systemctl --user unmask pulseaudio.socket

I had the same issue after last week's upgrade.
I followed V1del's comment, and pulseaudio -vvv revealed this error:
D: [pulseaudio] conf-parser.c: Failed to open configuration file '/usr/share/alsa-card-profile/mixer/profile-sets/force-speaker-and-int-mic.conf': No such file or directory
D: [pulseaudio] alsa-mixer.c: Profile set 0x563ae12b6b30, auto_profiles=no, probed=yes, n_mappings=0, n_profiles=0, n_decibel_fixes=0

Indeed, /usr/share/alsa-card-profile/mixer/profile-sets/ for some reason was almost empty: it only contained audigy.conf, owned by the package alsa-card-profiles.
Reinstalling the package alsa-card-profiles and restarting pulseaudio solved the issue.

Glad to hear, however that directory did not exist yet when this problem was an issue, so your solution wouldn't be applicable to what was the original cause of the problem here.
