Hello everyone, I hope you can help me with my problem.
I installed my system some months ago. I had some issues with the nouveau driver, which forced me to switch to the driver of nvidia (i am using the lts kernel and a GeForce GTX 1070 Mobile, so the package i installed was nvidia-lts). But sometimes(2-3 times), after I do a kernel upgrade my nvidia driver could not be found in the directory for the currently booted kernel version. Until now, my solution for this was to downgrade my lts-kernel and wait for the next release, which solved the problem.
But the last i run into this issue (kernel version 4.19.36-1) the next version (4.19.37-1) did not solve this problem. And now i'm feeling a bit uncomfortable to stick with the kernel 4.19.34-1 for ever. It would be very nice if you could help me to upgrade my kernel and get a stable system again.
output of my currently booted system

The nvidia-lts module is outdated, it's technically a packaging bug. If you want to fix this now, update and manually rebuild nvidia-lts or install nvidia-dkms instead, which will automatically rebuild the module for the installed kernels.
Also please post command output in [ code ] tags.

thank you for your fast reply. I edited my post as you suggested and marked it as solved, because this was the solution I was asking for. Probably a newbie question, but what is the reason for this bug to occur? Shouldn't driver packages be rebuilt automatically for a new kernel version and shipped as a working version to the users via the package manager? Or does this bug belong to NVIDIA

linux-lts is configured with CONFIG_MODVERSIONS which means modules can be used across different kernel versions provide symbol information matches.
When symbol versions change the module does need to be rebuilt. This is not an issue with the code supplied by nvidia but the packaging done by arch.
