[SOLVED] Can't change urxvt's font-size using key-binding

I usually use 12px font size. but sometimes i want to change to 18px.

So, I install the urxvt-perls package using pacman and configure the .Xresources file. but my key-binding is not working.

url-select is working. but resize-font doesn't work.

I've been so many google but i cannot resolve it.

Can anyone help me?

urxvt-perls does not provide this functionality...

Sorry, I am beginners about ArchLinux. I cannot understand what is NC.

Where did you pick the shortcut config, even the script advises you different…

URxvt.keysym.M-j:           resize-font:smaller
URxvt.keysym.M-k:           resize-font:bigger

Don't forget to merge xrdb and that it will only apply to new processes…

I changed the .Xresources and run xrdb .Xresources.
But it didn't work...

It doesn't work....

Other extension is work well. but resize-font and xim-onthespot is not working.

Works fine here (just tried, though I just copied the script into ~/.urxvt/ext/).
As for xim, no idea but you're apparently using fcitx - no idea whether that might mess w/ certain shortcuts. *shrug*

It works!!!!!

I create the directory .urxvt/ext then copy the files from /usr/lib/urxvt/perl.

And I change the .Xresouces little bit.

URxvt.font: xft:ProFontIIx Nerd Font-11, xft:DejaVu Sans Mono for Powerline-14, xft:Siji, xft:IPAGothic

to

URxvt.font: xft:ProFontIIx Nerd Font:size=11, xft:DejaVu Sans Mono for Powerline:size=14, xft:IPAGothic:size=12

I think the script wants to know fonts default size.

But xim-onthespot is not working.

As mentioned, I don't see how XIM can work if you're using fcitx…
However, this is certainly a topic for a different thread.
