There's a snapshot of the error below. Search turned up nothing helpful. Happens when I run Chromium. Gpg --list-keys shows that all keys are good, no expired keys. Journalctl mentions briefly that gpg-agent failed to lookup password for a key that's not even listed in my keys. Then further down mentions that kde.kwallet failed to execute, it all sounds related. I can provide log files.
Any help would be appreciated.

Have you implemented this:

Sorry for the late reply, I ran Chromium with the argument
chromium --password-store-kwallet
but I still get the error. It's just strange because I've never had to intervene or run it without any arguments, it has always worked then suddenly stopped after my last update so I'm guessing something in the update changed but can't quite figure out what has changed or how to go about fixing it.

Bump- still an ongoing issue for me. I ran journalctl with f flag and noticed a message I had previously missed. I'm not the best at diagnosing these messages tbh, if anybody would care to guess as to what this could mean other than it being a sync issue, which I get that part, it would help a lot:
May 23 15:36:38 wguayan kwalletd5[893]: "0 instead of 3 arguments to message {Failed to sync walle...} supplied before conversion."

How do you unlock your wallet?
What version of kwallet and kmanager are you using?
Also, how do you start your WM/DE?
And make the error happen and then post your journal log in full using code tags or pastebin.

When I launch chromium for the first time I enter a passocde to unlock kwallet.
Kwallet versioin 5.58.0-1, I don't have kmanager installed, I think it's the frontend for kwallet no? Installing it has crossed my mind, but since I don't interact with kwallet that often I didn't think I really needed it.
From a non-graphical environment, I use startx to launch my DE
This is the error reproduced from a fresh reboot:

Please try to reproduce the error by launching chromium from a terminal and provide any output you receive.

The only error I see, is this, which I think might be unrelated:
➜ ~ chromium
Gtk-Message: 07:30:08.273: Failed to load module "appmenu-gtk-module"

Actually, I think it is relevant. I see this error in you logs...
Failed to lookup password for key n/9EA7F07EB57AE57CB307A64F89B129B0EC8FA534 with secret service: The name org.freedesktop.secrets was not provided by any .service files
The fix for it is to install gnome-keyring...
https://simpleit.rocks/linux/ubuntu/sol … -in-linux/
https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/GNOME/Keyring
Which, maybe, pulls in appmenu-gtk-module.
Anyway, that module is available for installation in the Arch community repo.
Edit: I think that what fixes this is libsecret which is optionally required by gnome-keyring, I think you should install the gnome-keyring.

Well the funny thing is that key in question doesn't even exist in my key list, which I guess is part of the problem. I have three keys, and that's not one of them, and to add to that, there's already a key in there responsible for kwallet. I'm not sure what happened because it was working fine without gnome-keyring, but let me play around with that a bit (will need to find out if gnome-keyring and kdewallet conflict with each other) and see if I can get some results, and I'll post back. Thanks for the help!
*EDIT* Did a little probing and found the missing key in ~./gnupg/private-keys-v1.d, along with three other keys. Those keys don't match and of my secret keys, of which I have two. I don't understand the discrepancy. I was thinking since it's gpg-agent that's asking for that key, if there's a way to force gpg-agent to look for that key that is actually associated with kdewallet.
I'm reading the gpg-agent wiki as we speak, I just wanted to try that first before installing files that might potentially conflict with each other. If you have any pointers on using gpg-agent to achieve this, shoot. All I can see so far is using gpg-agent.conf file.
*EDIT 2* Before diving to deep into gpg-agent, I tried gnome-keyring and no luck.

Bump
Never found a solution to this if anyone can help. The last thing I tried is clearing cookies, history, saved passwords, etc then removing and reinstalling to no avail. Any help from the experts would be appreciated.

Kinda necroposting, but I've got same problem and found how to fix.
Let's suppose that we are in the KDE/Plasma
First - look into KGpg and make ultimate trust to the key you want to encrypt the wallet.
Second - open KGpg options (Settings -> Configure KGpg) and make sure that your trusted key used in "Encrypt files with" option.
Then - reboot or reopen the wallet to test if all is OK.
