Recent versions of Teamviewer don't work for users that use "startx". But I forgot that, and uninstalled teamviewer12, replacing it with teamviewer (version 14). It doesn't work (as I use startx), so I tried to reinstall teamviewer12 but get an error, as the old version of lib32-freetype2 doesn't seem to be available:

Error downloading sources: teamviewer12I've searched the local cache, but lib32-freetype2-2.8-2-x86_64.pkg.tar.xz doesn't exist. I also can't find a copy online.
Is there anything else I can try to get Teamviewer 12 reinstalled?
Thanks :-)

I'd probably drop a message with the PKGBUILD to notify the maintainer of this problem and hope he can update it properly, but I can give you a quick suggestion you can try in the meantime:
Update the source array to grab lib32-freetype2-2.8.1-1-x86_64.pkg.tar.xz instead of 2.8-2. The chances that a point release breaks compatibility are very slim.
EDIT: you can check the available versions on the archive by navigating to the root dir for said package: https://archive.archlinux.org/packages/ … freetype2/

Ah, thanks! I got teamviewer12 installed with the freetype2 package you suggested, and it seems to be working fine. :-)
I also posted a message on the AUR page for the maintainer.
Thanks again!
