[SOLVED] wlan0 is not being renamed

I use Arch on my X1C6 and a Dell Latitude 5480. Both of them show wlpXs0 interface when run from an installation CD but somehow refuse to rename from wlan0 when run on a real system. It happens when I use both systemd-networkd and dhcpcd (separately, of course, one at the time). I even tried to create a systemd.link file and it was valid but did not rename the interface. How to fix it?

~ dmesg | grep wl

[ 8.000347] wlan0: associated

Sometimes it also gives me that:

A link change request failed with some changes committed already. Interface <did not remember which of those two names> may have been left with an inconsistent configuration, please check.
