I use a HDMI external monitor as a primary display extended with my laptop display. When I disconnect the monitor from the laptop HDMI, the display configuration doesn't change and it stays like if it was still connected. Then I read somewhere that xrandr may help me. I installed it and every time I need to disconnect the monitor I run "xrandr" in the terminal to refresh my display and use only the laptop one. Then, when I want to reconnect the monitor, it refresh automatically and return with the extended monitors configuration. I like to refresh automatically when I disconnect the monitor too, but I can't find anything helpful. Is anyone here that had this same issue and know how to fix it?
