Hi,
chromium starts to crash from chromium-73. So I kept it in 72 and icu in 63 by
pacman -Syu --ignore=chromium --ignore=icuBut now some other packages needs icu64, I have to upgrade chromium and icu to the newest version.
chromiumand
chromium --disable-gpucrash with the total blank window and the same log.

Seems you're hitting some thread quota.
Usual suspect:
chromium --disable-extensionsOtherwise: Did you set any limits via ulimit or systemd? Is this a virtual machine or docker image?

Thanks. I tried to run chromium without extensions(only one extension), but get the same error.

The problem is
ERROR:platform_thread_posix.cc(129)] pthread_create: Resource temporarily unavailable (11) - at some point chromium just gives up.
Try to run it from a fresh user account (to sidestep all user configs)
What's the output of "systemctl status some_random.service"? (The tasks line might be relevant, esp. the limit)

Trace/breakpoint trap (core dumped)Does this mean chromium must need gpu to run?

Did you ensure that the setting is the critical one and not merely adding a config breaks stuff? (Ie. do things work again if you restore the setting?)
In case that would suggest a bug in the software renderer. Or do you maybe just run OOM? Do you have a swap device?

It is strange. Just checking my another user account, the new version chromium could run without any probelm. So it is not oom or swap related.
#swapon --summary
Filename Type Size Used Priority
/dev/sda2 partition 1048572 0 -2Maybe there are some other env setting in this account causing this crash. But other than no internet connection, "Use Hardware acceleration when available" is the only setting that I changed. Turning off this option will cause the crash of chromium in this account. And there is no difference between Turning On/Off this option in another account.
