After doing a soft-raid install, I forgot to edit my ect/fstab. Of all the things to forget! Ugh
The system still boots ok but because the file system in fstab is not using the raid md dev lines, I can't get write permissions, even as root and I can't set a root password. Can I chroot back into my system from the install cd to edit the fstab to the correct format. I'm hoping I don't have to reinstall because of this. I have a very confusing setup with raid arrays. Is there a simple way i can fix my fstab?

Well u gave the possible solution just yourself :S
Try booting with the arch cd into your system and editing the fstab, or a livecd if u have one.
