XFCE and Samba shares password

When installing the xfce4 group, does that include samba?
If it does include samba, how do i set a password that would be required when browsing network files?
(in kde plasma i think there is a gui to set a password for samba shares, but i can not figure out how to set password for samba shares in xfce)

[edit] also is there a way to completely disable samba?

Pacman tells you what will be installed when you tell it to install a group, why are you asking us?

r.e. samba configuration, see https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Samba

Mod note: moving to NC.

Re: XFCE and Samba shares password

Sorry for my noob question, but it seems that the xfce4 group does not pull in any samba related programs, if i'm correct.
[edit] Does that mean, i can not share folders over network?

Of course you can, but you'll need to install and configure samba first.

No, it didn't "fix" anything. It just shifted the brokeness one space to the right. - jasonwryan
