where are notifications logged?

I had an off notification pop up in gnome today, "MF_systram is ready" and I'm not sure what triggered it. where are notifications logged, I would like to figure out what triggered that notification because I don't know what could have cased it, and that bothers me.
Thanks in advance

Re: where are notifications logged?

if it's logged at all anywhere I'd suppose you might find it in the journal

Re: where are notifications logged?

If it happens too often, you need to add manual DBUS log with:

$ dbus-monitor --session > ~/dbus.log

Re: where are notifications logged?

BTW, this notification is about "focus stealing prevention" in GNOME Shell so "MF_systram" was just the name of a window.
