i'm brand new to linux. like 5 days. my nephew set this up and he's out of town for two weeks or i'd ask him. set my res to 1360x768 to match the monitor. went to desktop and everything was real small. set the font size up and it's good on everything except the xserver settings. it's so small i can't read anything.went to xconf and dropped out all resolution except 800x600. rebooted and went to desktop. now everything is large. except the nvidia xserver. it still is at 1360x768. why is the resolution different on only the xserver and how can i fix this? thank you

Not sure if it was mentioned in the link, but if you search around on the forums you'll find a method to discover the DPI of your monitor and set up fonts to have an OK size
