murrine and candido engines not working [Solved]

ok I build the package for both murrine and candido, but the gnome pannel and windows
borders will not update to murrine or candido style. They stay on the previous style (i.e.
clearlooks or what ever i had it on). Now before you flame I did a search. I did see problems
of this kind but, the themes are installing to /usr/lib/gtk-2.0/2.10.0/engines/. I don't get any
build errors. If you think that a log would help let me know what to post. because I don't
have a clue where to look. Oh I do get buttons and everything else. And it could be my fault
this is my first archlinux install. this was the first thing that i have not been able to fix.

Thanks in advance.

ahhhhh I am a bone head.
lol i forgot to install the murrine metacity theme.
all is well
Thank for the reply
I will run and hide the shame.

Re: murrine and candido engines not working [Solved]

Well i had similiar problems to those uve mentioned with some GTK engines: Selected a rezlooks theme and panel and apps looked like pink(!) crap
Logged out and in again without changing theme and then it looked as it should, pretty weird, but i think that had s.th. to do Gnome handles(d) this operation.

Anyway, uve selecd theme and it just does nothing or does it look pretty weird or s.th. else? Maybe try that with selectin theme and re-logging in or if u want to give Xfce a try u could check if that one does it (better).

cheers,
