GTK3 GTKTextView background not rendering with dark themes

I run the Plasma Bolt theme normally, and noticed that on GTK3 applications, the backgrounds of the GTKTextView fail to render, showing whatever is behind them.

If I switch windows and then switch back, whatever was on the screen beforehand shows up where the black background ought to be.

I've reproduced this with another black theme, jgd-black. However, it does not happen with Adwaita's dark theme (where the backgrounds are merely dark grey.

I'm using the amdgpu driver, with the card
