I use xfce4
and i don't have any xfce4 option in mouse and touch pad that deactivate touchpad.
There are many question on google which is the other direction of what i want
(i want my touchpad alive)
I forget that i manually setting this. anyway i don't want it know
So i search my /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d which is empty
/etc/udev/rules,d which has one item '99-lowbat.rules' which i guess it suspend laptop at 5% battery.
(those are the location where wiki is pointing . wiki of 'turn off touchpad when mouse connect' . My best guess was that i followed the wiki...)
one more thing. when touchpad is down (due to mouse connection) if i type
synclient touchpadoff=0, it works
(when mouse is connected touchpadoff value change from 0 to 1)
So where should i find? or is there a log? so i catch the location while i connect mouse.
Or it is a default behavior of archlinux + xfce4
