IBM Thinkpad X20 acpi problem

Hi everybody,
i got a small problem with my X20. No sleep etc won't work. If i close my lid the laptop is working on and on. Its not going to sleep etc and if i send him to sleep manual with echo "mem" > /sys/power/state it works once going to sleep and wake up. After this the little moon is blinking and a second
echo "mem" > /sys/poer/state brings up this error:
[root@n00b espo]# echo "mem" > /sys/power/state
bash: echo: write error: Das Gerät oder die Ressource ist belegt
[root@n00b espo]#

in english this is The Ressource is in use...

Maybe some of you can help me with this.

I use the kernel: Linux n00b 2.6.17-ARCH #1 SMP PREEMPT Mon Aug 7 08:30:48 CEST 2006 i686 Pentium III (Coppermine) GenuineIntel GNU/Linux

Thanks in advance
