Hello, I'm new to i3, and have some issues, probably related to gpu/compositor.
moving/resizing/closing windows may lead to some kind of visual bugs:
closing window - https://ibb.co/coRi0V
resizing - https://ibb.co/mSb0fV
opening a window with "[class="foo"] floating enable" - https://ibb.co/edZ6nA. Here I have window "jumping", can I avoid such behavior? Besides adding "floating" to the main window
Also if I change border style for a window(adding window title) - https://ibb.co/gZgQfV https://ibb.co/e5sLEq
What I already tried:
- different values in the compton.conf, enabling/disabling compton
- switching between 75/60 refresh rate
- running i3 inside Mate also produces the issue
- In GNOME(without i3) I don't have the issue
- and there was related issue, which I sovled by updating kernel params "amdgpu.dc=0 and/or amdgpu.dpm=0 amdgpu.runpm=0"
Setup:
- wm: i3-gaps
- compositor: compton (".compton.conf")
- gpu driver: xf86-video-amdgpu 18.1.0-1

- In GNOME(without i3) I don't have the issue
And is that GNOME on X, or on wayland? The default for GNOME now is wayland, I believe.
In otherwords, is this a problem with all use of X, or just i3?
