[KDE Plasma] No effects like wobbly windows

Hi,
I have reinstalled xorg, nvidia drivers and I have problem with kde effect. There are no "wobbly windows" and other cool effects listed on kde settings. Even if I click to show all effects and select "wobbly windows" it not works. I've treid all compositors (OpenGL 2.0, OpenGL 3.1, XRender) without sucess.

It worked well yesterday before reinstallation xorg/nvidia.

How to fix it?

Re: [KDE Plasma] No effects like wobbly windows

You're obviously not using the nvidia driver, so apparently sth. went wrong w/ that update.

pacman -Qs nvidia
pacman -Qs linux
uname -a

Re: [KDE Plasma] No effects like wobbly windows

You posted the wrong output twice ;-)
However 5.1.7 is not up-to-date so there's a good chance you're booting an old kernel (because you forgot to mount the boot partition)

OT, I don't think you need bumblebee - you seem to have two nvidia GPUs but no IGP?

Ouups, output of second command (pacman -Qs linux) is empty

EDIT: I did not mount boot partition because I have GRUB on other linux
EDIT2: I have 2 graphic cards (Nvidia GTX 1050 and 650)

Re: [KDE Plasma] No effects like wobbly windows

That's not possible. It'll include some unrelated entries, but certainly not be empty.

Edit: if you don't mount your boot partition, the initramfs and kernel are written to the wrong location and this kind of shit happens.
I don't know why another distro would be a problem here, but you'll *have* to mount /boot before at least updating/reinstalling the linux package (what you should now do)

Re: [KDE Plasma] No effects like wobbly windows

Ok, the installed kernel package is dated what smells like you conducted a partial update. Don't do that and run "pacman -Syu" (don't forget about the boot partition!)

Re: [KDE Plasma] No effects like wobbly windows

If he's using GRUB there's a good chance that he doesn't need the /boot VFAT/EFI partition mounted if he loads them from the root partition. But yes right now you definitely have a kernel <-> nvidia mismatch

Ok, the installed kernel package is dated what smells like you conducted a partial update. Don't do that and run "pacman -Syu" (don't forget about the boot partition!)

I have a small mess on my disk because this is GPT with Legacy boot mode. Manjaro on sdc2, Arch on sdc3.

Should I mount sdc4 "grub2 core.img" as boot partition ?

Maybe it will be better to clean up this disk, because it's really weird everything works.

Please replace the oversized image w/ a link or even better post the (english) fdisk output.
However it looks like V1del is right and your /boot actually resides on sdc3, so no need to boot anything here. Just run a complete update.

I did full update but still same problem with nvidia. I decided to remove Manjaro and completly reinstall Arch Linux.
