Mesa library breaks Kodi using nouveau driver

On system "5.1.7-arch1-1-ARCH #1 SMP PREEMPT Tue Jun 4 15:47:45 UTC 2019 x86_64 GNU/Linux" running  kodi 18.2-3, Kodi crashes on startup in the nouveau graphics driver.

This workaround fixed it:
downgraded mesa (19.0.6-1 -> 19.0.5-1)

I'm seeing a similar issue with Kaffeine and the new mesa but haven't taken time to do a backtrace to determine exactly what's happening since downgrading solved the immediate problem. Mesa 19.1.0-1 did not work either. I haven't tried mesa 19.1.0-2 which I see is now available. System is 5.1.11-arch1-1-ARCH #1 SMP PREEMPT Mon Jun 17 18:56:30 UTC 2019 x86_64 GNU/Linux on a Thinkpad P-51 with Optimus, although nouveau is installed I'm only using the Intel graphics (no bumblebee).

Kaffeine now works for me after upgrading to mesa 19.1.1-1.
