I have a game that crashes my X server a few seconds into gameplay every time. Don't have any issue with any other game or application.
I found the following lines in the journal which correspond to the crash:

The logbit doesn't tell much, except many clients loosing connection to the X11 server (cause it crashed)
The (old) xorg log might contain a backtrace providing more insight on where it crashed.
You also didn't say what game in particular causes this nor whether you run it on the intel or nvidia chip (and whether that maybe makes a difference)

The game is Into the Breach.
I was running my nvidia card for everything. I tried switching to my intel card, and the game works now, so it's clearly related to nvidia.
I will check my old xorg log for clues when I use my nvidia card next time - thanks for the help.
