flash--poof!

Hey guys.

I've had this happen to me twice today: the window for
some app flashed on my screen for a split second, then
dissappeared too quickly for me to see what it was.

What is up with that? Anybody else experience this?
The first time, it could have been lag-then-crash for
kasteroids, which I tried to start twice after the
first try was unresponsive.  The second time, same
thing, different app?  strange.

try starting the apps from a terminal. It might print an error message.
