I've been trying to connect to wifi forever now and tried following the wiki as best as I could but it seems impossible to stay on track. A lot of the wiki assumes that when you try ip link that a wifi driver is present and it becomes easy from there, however whenever I try ip link I only see my Ethernet. What do I do? Please help.
ip link:
1: lo: <LOOPBACK,UP,LOWER_UP> mtu 65536 qdisc noqueue state UNKNOWN mode DEFAULT group default qlen 1000
link/loopback 00:00:00:00:00:00 brd 00:00:00:00:00:00
2: enp3s0: <BROADCAST,MULTICAST,UP,LOWER_UP> mtu 1500 qdisc fq_codel state UP mode DEFAULT group default qlen 1000
link/ether 2c:60:0c:71:a8:4c brd ff:ff:ff:ff:ff:ff

It seems you skipped the first section:
https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Wi … ice_driver
Use the commands provided there and share their results here so we can have some information about your hardware.

Broadcom gets a very own wiki page because it's so … well, let's say "special": https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Broadcom_wireless

You need to let us in on what's going on.
What's the output from the commands in the broadcom page to identify your hardware? What drivers has that led you to download? What do you mean by download, did you install them with pacman and/or makepkg? Did you load/blacklist any necessary kernel modules as described in the broadcom wiki page? Did you try any of the troubleshooting steps in that page?
