Multi-touch screen

I can find basically zero documentation on getting a multi-touch screen configured in Linux.  By multi-touch, I mean 10+ touch events.  Like on any mobile device.  I have a touchframe overlay hooked to my computer via USB, that supposedly supports 10+ touch events, but I can't figure out how to make it NOT behave like a mouse with gestures.
