Dear all,
After recent upgrades, I cannot start the glade software anymore (https://glade.gnome.org). Starting from the command line, it returns
free(): invalid pointer
Abandon (core dumped)
The related information in journalctl reads:
systemd-coredump[22546]:
Process 22542 (glade) of user 1000 dumped core.
#22 0x00005601153d9fb7 main (glade)
#24 0x00005601153da2ba _start (glade)
I am running gnome 3.32.2.
Has anyone encountered a similar problem recently?

you are using https://www.archlinux.org/packages/extra/x86_64/glade/ ?
After recent upgrades
please post the log of those upgrades. pacman stores its log in /var/log/pacman.log .
(If log is big, use a pastebin client )
Disliking systemd intensely, but not satisfied with alternatives so focusing on taming systemd.

Yes I am using https://www.archlinux.org/packages/extra/x86_64/glade/. However, there problem definitely happened after the glade package was last updated (2018-08-06).
I pasted the content of pacman.log here .
I do not know exactly when the problem started happening, since I didn't use glade in the past 2 month. I also compiled glade from source (https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/glade) and this led to the same error/crash.

I am experiencing the same problem as you. The only difference is that it's the first time I installed glade on my computer (via pacman -Syu so there wasn't any partial upgrade).

The problem was solved here: https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/glade/issues/372
I had the appmenu-gtk-module package installed, for no particular reason since I wasn't using it. Uninstalling this package immediatly fixed the issue.
@alex4401, I hope this works for you too!

@achilletalon Thanks for posting the link to the GitLab issue! Uninstalling appmenu-gtk-module did fix Glade for me too.
