Scroll with holding left and right mouse click (or similar)

I use Gnome 3.32, my mouse scroll is busted, the touchpad is not an option, and vimium only works in chrome (would be glad if there's an implementation of it for gnome). My question, Is it possible to scroll anywhere in my workspace, essentially add another scroll handler with behaviour like holding the left and right mouse click to scroll, or holding left click with another keyboard button?

On X11 yes, not sure about gnome on wayland (where the gnome shell would have to provide this)
On X11, the "ScrollButton" option provides this for libinput and "EmulateWheelButton" for evdev (check the manpages, "man 4 evdev" or man 4 libinput")
You can possibly set this at runtime using xinput.
