Problem: Keepassxc shows the error "No agent running, cannot add identity" when starting. I am also unable to add keys to the ssh-agent with the keepassxc gui.
I have setup ssh-agent to run using systemd user from the wiki
Troubleshooting:
I've verified the ssh-agent service is running
ssh-agent.service - SSH key agent
Loaded: loaded (/home/luke/.config/systemd/user/ssh-agent.service; enabled; vendor pr>
Active: active (running) since Fri 2019-06-14 15:20:09 PDT; 6min ago
Main PID: 26554 (ssh-agent)
CGroup: /user.slice/user-1000.slice/user@1000.service/ssh-agent.service
└─26554 /usr/bin/ssh-agent -D -a /run/user/1000/ssh-agent.socket
Jun 14 15:20:09 chaos systemd[974]: Started SSH key agent.
Jun 14 15:20:09 chaos ssh-agent[26554]: SSH_AUTH_SOCK=/run/user/1000/ssh-agent.socket; e>
Jun 14 15:20:09 chaos ssh-agent[26554]: echo Agent pid 26554;~/.pam_environment contains
SSH_AUTH_SOCK DEFAULT="${XDG_RUNTIME_DIR}/ssh-agent.socketI am using KDE so I figure the note (in the arch wiki link above) about the environment variable being overridden when using the GNOME keyring doesn't apply.

I was able to fix this by setting the SSH_AUTH_SOCK variable using this method rather than ~/.pam_environment
