Hi,
Recently i installed arch linux and installed xfce desktop enviorment everything work fine but when i try to play a video .Sound is not working . someone help me to overcome this issue

What have you tried so far?
OP, consider that, while you may be familiar with your system, we know nothing about it and cannot know anything based upon your post.
What sound card are you using? Is it analog? Is it HDA? If so, what codecs does your system have? Are you trying to do audio over HDMI?
Is it a PCI device? a legacy ISA device on the LPC bus? is it a USB device? Perhaps Bluetooth?
Let's start with the following:
Have you installed Alsa?
Have you installed Pulseaudio? Is it configured for a single user?
What is the output of lspci -nn ?
