CUPS - HP Printer only prints one document

My HP P1102W using the "HP LaserJet Pro P1102w Foomatic/foo2zjs-z2" driver from the AUR package foo2zjs-nightly 20190517-1 only seems to be able to print one document before needing to be power cycled.

I send a PDF or DOC using lpr, it prints all pages. It will accept new jobs, but nothing will print, not even test pages.
Does any one have an idea what the problem is? Thanks in advance.

If you don't mind using hp's proprietary driver plugin, you could try using hplip with

hp-setup -i

on the command line, to download the plugin and set up your printer automatically.
