I'm trying to set up a status bar using Dzen2. I can get most everything to work except that when I send ^i(filepath.xbm) to the bar it does not draw the icon.

Please show the actual command/script you used as well as any error output from dzen.
"UNIX is simple and coherent..." - Dennis Ritchie, "GNU's Not UNIX" - Richard Stallman

When I open dzen I use
dzen2 -x 0 -y 0 -w 1920 -h 24 -fn -*-fixed-medium-*-*-*-12-*-*-*-*-*-*-* -ta c -bg #ffffff -fg #000000
Then I type the things I want in the bar to the command line for testing. The line I'm typing that does not work is
^i(~/.dzen2/xbm/da-024-1.xbm)
I got the image from here: https://gitlab.com/epsi-rns/dotfiles/tr … assets/xbm

replace "~" w/ the actual path, you're not typing into a bash…
