Hello, just got rid of Windows for Arch.
When I was installing Arch, I decided to stick to my guide as close as possible for security reasons, and I would later customize my install as I saw fit. I had an extra 450 GiB of space unallocated, which I just went ahead and gave to my /home partition.
Currently, running
lsblkproduces the following:
sda 8:0 0 2.7T 0 disk
sdb 8:16 0 465.8G 0 disk
|-sdb1 8:17 0 512M 0 part
|-sdb2 8:18 0 20G 0 part /
`-sdb3 8:19 0 445.3G 0 part /home
sdc 8:32 0 2.7T 0 disk
|-sdc1 8:33 0 128M 0 part
`-sdc2 8:34 0 2.7T 0 part
sdd 8:48 1 57.9G 0 disk
`-sdd1 8:49 1 57.9G 0 part I'm also getting 445.3G in KDE Partition Manager.
However, Dolphin and Steam still don't recognize the change, after many a reboot.
So I guess I have a couple questions:
Should I have allocated the space to
rootinstead? What's the difference?
How can I fix this, so that everything is detecting my whole drive?
Thanks in advance, appreciate all the help I can get! I can answer any questions as needed ![]()

Without knowing what kind of file systems/volumes you have in place.
As far as what you "should have done", that's completely up to you.

Hey, thanks! I realized my mistake now, I didn't properly resize the filesystem after making the new partition. That last link did it. Thanks so much!
