Hi guys,
I want to mount folders of my internal hard disk inside my home folder.
/dev/sdb1 is properly mounted as /datadrive: however the following bind mount entries are not working.
Can you help me in diagnosis?
Thanks in advance.

Read the journal?

Read the journal?
According to journal log, there's no issue about bind mount points: I see only Mounting/Mounted entries.
Offline
Then there's obviously no problem…
Post the journal and also the output of "mount" to get us closer to what "does not works" actually means.
My best blind guess is to add "noauto,x-systemd.automoun" because ntfs-3g is a fuse mount.

The closer output (related to mount points) is:

Again, post the output of "mount" (the command, without any other arguments)

@loqs, why the leading dash?

@seth
systemd-escape /home/Simone98RC/Setup
-home-Simone98RC-SetupOffline
Still named home.mount here, not -home.mount (thus cat'ing the latter fails)
*shrug* I gave up on trying to understand systemd…

I forgot to use the -p option

The folders are empty, I've tried both with Dolphin file manager and ls command in Terminal.
I've tried also as root user, the situation is the same.
Ps the first mount point you've mentioned works properly.

My apologies, there was only a case-sensitive issue: my username is registered as lowercase, so I've wrongly created another user folder.
Shame, shame.
Thanks much for the support ![]()
