[SOLVED] Updating after months of inactivity -- ecl and ecl-16.1.2

Hi,

I am updating my laptop after several months of inactivity due to traveling (when this laptop was not in use as it wasn't with me). During a run of pacman -Syyu I get the following error message:

looking for conflicting packages...
:: ecl and ecl-16.1.2 are in conflict. Remove ecl-16.1.2? [y/N] 
error: unresolvable package conflicts detected
error: failed to prepare transaction (conflicting dependencies)

Needless to say, removing ecl or ecl-16.1.2 individually using pacman -R does not help.

Any ideas or suggestions will be welcome! I could not find a post about this in this forum in my search but if there is one, please point me to it (and in that case, sorry for the multiple posting!).

What is the output from pacman when you try and remove ecl-16.1.2 ?

It seems that removing sage-notebook, sagetex, sagemath and finally maxima-ecl (in this order) got rid of this error message. But I still get a bunch of errors from pacman -Syyu, as shown below

Thank you! Updating archlinux-keyring (after pacman -Sc) helped, and I was able to update.
