Hello everybody!
Since the wifi card of my T430s is broken I decided to buy a wifi adapter from tp-link (model TL-WN725N). However I'm not able to get it work properly...
I've already followed this guide and now the adapter is detected but when I try to connect to a wireless network using the command:
sudo wifi-menu wlp0s20u2I get the following errors:
Scanning for networks... nl80211: Could not configure driver mode
ioctl[SIOCSIWAP]: Operation not permitted
ioctl[SIOCSIWENCODEEXT]: Invalid argument
ioctl[SIOCSIWENCODEEXT]: Invalid argumentI then get prompted to the wifi-menu window where I can choose the wireless network I want to connect to but after making my selection and setting up a profile with password nothing happens.
Could someone help me out?
Thank you!

Using this guide I was at least able to get the dongle to be detected...I've tried to follow other guides before but with no success. Also, from what I understand the guy is running Arch on his Raspberry Pi.

Arch-ARM is a seperate distribution. Read, and follow methodically, the wireless page on the wiki.
Moving to NC...
