How to change dolphin background outside kde plasma

Hi,

I am using i3 gaps, where I managed to change the theme of dolphin by reading Arch wiki on qt and gtk, but I am struggling to change dolphins background its always white no matter which theme I choose, how can this be achieved?

Well, have you tried reading the wiki on Dolphin itself??

(I assumed by Dolphin you mean the file manager and not the emulator)

Great thank you. Do you know by any change on how to change icon colors as they sort of blend with the background.

They can't be changed with a simple config file like before (as they are image files). But, you can try to edit them using any image manipulation tool

They usually reside in /usr/share/icons/*Insert the name of your Icon theme here*

Or you can just change the icon theme using lxappearance
