Hello,
so a couple weeks ago i've bought a 1TB SSD for my computer and made a fresh clean arch linux installation on it. Everything worked pretty fine until now.
The OS does not boot anymore, it does not even show me the grub menu on bootup, it only says, that there is no bootable device.
After booting with the live-usb i can still see the ssd with all the 3 partitions i made for boot/root/home. I even can mount them and tried to reinstall grub with no success :-(
I am a little bit confused that on bootup i can clearly see nothing.
Any hints?
Best regards :-)

uEFI?
What does the boot order in the system setup menu look like?

Paste your grub config and blkid output.

This is all pre-OS/boot loader and w/ your BIOS.
=> Is the disk visible to the UEFI/BIOS? After a short while or explicit search?
What brands (mainboard/disk)? Did you search for known issues?
Did you recently add other HW or conduct a UEFI update (notice that windows has a habit to just do that w/ its background updates…)

My Mainboard is a Gigabyte X399 Aorus Xtreme.
The only thing i changed on the setup was removing an old SSD with Windows installed.

The removed one doesn't happen to be the Samsung 960 (250GB)?
Does the system boot again when you re-instert it?

No the Samsung 960 is still plugged in. No nothing worked, even re-inserting
