[SOLVED]Character incorectly displayed in xterm with LANG=en_us.utf8
I just set up a new desktop and I have a strange issue.
Some character are incorrectly displayed in xterm.
I have run locale-gen as usual during installation.
$ echo $LANG
en_US.UTF-8
$ make
[...]
□mainWindow::mainWindow()□
[...]
$ LANG= make
[...]
'mainWindow::mainWindow()'
[...](note : the square are not the actual character in the terminal, as if i copy the actual output to the browser, they display fine)

That simply means that the used font (nor any configured substitute) provides that glyph.
=> font and actual codepoint (utf-8 number of the missing glyph)?

I use xterm without any kind of configuration, so the font should be terminus.
fontconfig is installed but not configured in any way.
The chars are :

Not "should™", try
xterm -fa "xos4 Terminus"/usr/share/fonts/misc/ter-x14n.pcf.gz has those glyphs and displays them fine here.

xterm -fa "xos4 Terminus"fixes it.
How do I determine the font currently used by my terminal ?
