Steam - all tabs except library show only black screens

Hi all,
I've installed Steam on my new installation of Arch, and it is failing to show any tab except the library tab. When I try to access anything else the space where the store/community/profile should be is just black. I am able to access the Steam settings, though. Curiously, steam also forced my status (under the small friends tab all the way at the top) to offline, and it won't let me change it. Not sure if that's relevant, but I'm sharing it just in case. Clicking the "Friends and Chat" button in the bottom right causes nothing to happen. In big picture mode the store does work, however. My account was able to link okay and I can access the steam store from Firefox, so I don't think it's a problem of not being able to access steam.

Some other info I thought I should provide: I use Cinnamon and have installed the steam-native-runtime package. I've tried reinstalling steam, deleting its files, and clearing its cache.

The steam-native runtime currently can't display web content due to this bug: https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/62095

Thanks. The solution in the comments of that bug report solved the issue.
