Hello everybody,
I'm currently facing an annoying issue when dealing with udev rules. Simply, I want to run a script when HDMI is connected/disconnected.
To do that, I'm using udev rules which is supposed to trigger my script but I'm having trouble because apparently no event is generated when HDMI is detached.
I've been monitoring the events with
udevadm monitor yet nothing at all happens when disconnecting the HDMI.
Additionally, I've looked into
/sys/class/drm/card0-HDMI-A-2/status to see the status, but it says connected even when it is not.
Further info: I've got one of those hybrid nvidia cards and bumblebee running on my sys, might that be it?
