Having an issue with a Rode NT-USB not being detected at all.

1. Different USB cable
2. A live CD (Fedora) doesn't work.
3. The LTS kernel
4. Both USB2 and USB3 Ports and case USBs
5. Works fine under Windows
6. Gets enough power because I test with the headphone jack on the Mic
Any help would be gladly apprieciated this is driving me up the wall!

Figured it out the cable that came with the unit was too long found a shorter one that works.
I have ordered a higher quality one to replace.
