Major graphic glitches on Ryzen 2500U since kernel & mesa update

Hi,

I am experiencing severe graphic glitches across all my GUI applications (Firefox, Thunderbird, Thunar, Audacity) and also when switching Workspaces in i3wm. It looks like there are certain parts of past screen content ripped apart, stretched and randomly put over the current expected screen content. It is so bad and frequent, that the laptop is basically not usable since the update. Check it out in this video: http://sendvid.com/q6becqmu

However, there are no glitches on the terminal and Emacs (in GUI mode). There are also no issues on a dual-booted Windows 10, so I guess the hardware is fine. This Arch installation is on a ThinkPad A485 with Raven Ridge Ryzen 2500U and did not show any issues like this before these certain updates:

Re: Major graphic glitches on Ryzen 2500U since kernel & mesa update

Nice find, thanks a lot! Adding the kernel boot parameter

iommu=pt

indeed fixes the problem.

Best regards

Edit: Btw, ofc this is not my bug report, so consider it confirmed.
