Black screen trying to suspend in Lenovo ideapad 320

Hello

I have installed Archlinux with KDE Plasma 5.16.3 and I have problems with my laptop when I close it to suspend it. Some times the screen turn off but my laptop does not suspend. When I open it, the screen still off but neither the num lock nor bloq mayus turn on or off. I tried to change to tty with CTRL+ALT+F2, CTRL+ALT+F1 and CTRL+ALT+F7 but nothing works so the solutions is make a hard turn off. Searching in the forums, some users suggest to disable SDDM, change to LTS kernel... I have done it but the problem persists.

My computer has:

OS: Arch Linux x86_64
Kernel Release: 4.19.60-1-lts
Processor Type: AMD A12-9720P RADEON R7, 12 COMPUTE CORES 4C+8G

I would appreciate your help

Re: Black screen trying to suspend in Lenovo ideapad 320

Try

#systemctl suspend

https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Po … _hibernate

Also see
man systemctl
man journalctl

You'll have to troubleshoot it.

Re: Black screen trying to suspend in Lenovo ideapad 320

The command

# systemctl suspend

works without problems but the output of journalctl is

$ journalctl -xe -p3 -b -1

Jul 25 09:42:17 unknown kernel: suspend_common(): xhci_pci_suspend+0x0/0xd0 [xhci_pci] returns -110
Jul 25 09:42:17 unknown kernel: pci_pm_suspend(): hcd_pci_suspend+0x0/0x30 returns -110
Jul 25 09:42:17 unknown kernel: dpm_run_callback(): pci_pm_suspend+0x0/0x120 returns -110
Jul 25 09:42:17 unknown kernel: PM: Device 0000:00:10.0 failed to suspend async: error -110
Jul 25 09:42:17 unknown kernel: PM: Some devices failed to suspend, or early wake event detected

What do they mean?
