Booting from live environment, wpa_supplicant failed to create P2P dev

Hello,
I booted a live environment with my new Acer Predator Helios 300. When I try to connect to the WIFI using wpa_supplicant, I get output

Successfully initialized wpa_supplicant
nl80211: kernel reports: Attribute failed policy validation
Failed to create interface p2p-dev-wlp0s20f3: -22 (Invalid argument)
nl80211: Failed to create a P2P Device interface p2p-dev-wlp0s20f3
P2P: Failed to enable P2P Device interface

Right after that, I get spawned frequently at random occasions:

[xxxx.xxxxxx] iwlwifi 0000:00:14.3: Unhandled alg: 0x707
[xxxx.xxxxxx] iwlwifi 0000:00:14.3: Unhandled alg: 0x71b

where xxxx means some random numbers.
What is going on? When I type

lspci -k | grep Network

, it outputs

Network controller: Intel Corporation Wireless-AC 9560 [Jefferson Peak] (rev 10)
Subsystem: Bigfoot Networks, Inc. Wireless-AC 9560 (Jefferson Peak)

I should add that connecting via

iw dev wlp0s20f3 connect "..."

works, when I try to connect to my phone's hotspot.

Thanks!

What is the type of network you are trying to connect to? Is it a university network?

Can you try to connect using iwd with dhcpcd enabled?
