XFCE stuck in loading after login

Desktop Environment: XFCE
Login manager: LightDM

After logging in, XFCE gets stuck in the loading screen until I've switched to another fullscreen terminal with e.g. Ctrl+Alt+F1 and switching back to X (Ctrl+Alt+F7).

Altough I still can use the computer it is a little annoying.

Re: XFCE stuck in loading after login

Might be related to the low entropy issue during early boot, install and enable haveged or, granted your CPU supports it (lscpu | grep rdrand gives you output) add

random.trust_cpu=on

to your kernel parameters.

See this for more information.

However as you seem to manually log in this should already fill this pool, can you post a complete

journalctl -b

after having done this switch?
