[XFCE] appmenu/HUD support

Hello fellow geeks

I'm using XFCE and quite happy with it!

But I want to save a couple of pixel by having the menu in the panel. I tried installing

community/appmenu-gtk-module
community/libdbusmenu-glib
community/libdbusmenu-gtk2
community/libdbusmenu-gtk3
community/libdbusmenu-qt5
aur/appmenu-qt4
aur/thunderbird-appmenu
aur/firefox-appmenu
aur/vala-panel-git
aur/vala-panel-appmenu-common-git
aur/vala-panel-appmenu-xfce-git
aur/libdbusmenu-qt4

with all their dependencies (optionals too)

now I get the app-menu but the menu still appears in the application windows too, it also does not work for certain applications!
Is there a guide/manual way to install those apps to get the best results I'm looking for. these AUR packages require installing mate-panel budgie-desktop gnome-shell-sessions ...etc which I don't think are necessary to have the appmenu working.

also if anyone got hud working on xfce please help me figure out how to do it too!
