[SOLVED] Remove Advanced Boot Option from GRUB Menu

Background:
I do not have 'os-prober' installed.

Setting 'GRUB_DISABLE_SUBMENU=y' does not remove or hide the 'Advanced Boot' entry.

Reason:
I am dual booting Fedora and would like to have only two menu options so I can quickly select which one I want on boot.

As it is I have:
Arch
Arch with Advanced Options
Fedora

I want:
Arch
Fedora

Re: [SOLVED] Remove Advanced Boot Option from GRUB Menu

Try creating your own grub config manually instead of relying on grub-mkconfig...

No, it didn't "fix" anything. It just shifted the brokeness one space to the right. - jasonwryan

That's not a bad idea. I don't want to invest the time into that right now so I will wait to see if any other solutions are posted. If not I will mark as solved and go that route.
