[RESOLVED] Post has vanished into thin air?

hi all,
A post I made yesterday has utterly vanished; I'm guessing it was deleted by a mod. Is this intended behaviour? Is there something I'm missing about how to figure out what happened? It seems kind of crazy to just disappear the post and leave me guessing what happened.
cheers

OK actually I know why it was deleted. I forgot I had manjaro installed on my laptop and not arch. I go back and forth... anyway, writing the post took me a while, is there any way for me to recover it?

Posts don't disappear, they get moved to the dustbin.

Yes, it's still in the Dustbin sub-forum.

You can always find your previous posts/threads even if they've been moved from the links on your profile page.

Your post was not deleted; it was moved to the Dustbin: https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=248327
